Aish Camp welcomes Barak Schecter as its director. Barak has been working in camps for many years, including being assistant head counselor and head counselor of Moonlight Day Camp at Moonlight Cottages in Monticello, NY. Aish Camp is an Aish Affiliated Summer camp in Israel, geared towards American Yeshiva High School Students, i.e. boys currently in grades 10th-12th. Summer 2012 will be running, G-d willing, from July 31st - August 26th, 2012. Schedule: Aish Camp is designed specifically with teenagers in mind, and the schedule provides fun, action-packed and growthful activities all through the summer. Activities such as hiking, kayaking, wall-climbing, touring north, south and center, and BBQs are just part of the exciting picture. And of course, there's swimming. Our campers enjoy themselves, make friends for life, meet Israeli soldiers and gain a stronger and deeper connection to their roots, their homeland and the Jewish people. Stay tuned for the 2012 itinerary to be posted soon!Growth and learning: We enjoy classes and lectures by top educators and Rabbis who inspire, provide enhanced perspectives and motivate growth, as well as a strong connection to Israel and appreciation of who we are as a people. Some of the best Aish classes are included in the schedule. The staff members are hand-picked and are mature and responsible, and at the same time that they know how to "chill" and have a good time. Of course, security is of top concern, and when necessary, there is an armed guard accompanying the group on trips, as well as any other precautions to ensure the safety of the campers. Tuition fare: $3289 (not including the flight). Group flight:
