Q: Will there be a chance for our son to visit relatives?
A: Yes. The weekend of July 23-25 is designated for the boys to spend Shabbos with family in Israel. They leave on Friday, July 23rd, at 10:00 AM and return on Sunday, July 25th at 2:00 PM.
Q: Will my son be picked up from the airport?
A: Certainly! Our staff will be picking the campers arriving on the group flight, and will bring them to our accomodations. If your son is coming on a different flight, let us know the date and time of arrival. If you would like him to be picked up personally, it can be arranged for a charge.
Q: Can my son (a) come to Israel a few days before the program begins, or (b) stay in Israel for a few days after the program ends?
A: Many Bnei Aish boys have stayed in Israel beyond the program dates, and had a positive experience. However, the dates of our program are from July 5th to August 1st. Any camper who is in Israel before or after these dates needs to make their own arrangements.
note: If your son will indeed be in Israel before July 5th, he may come to our accomodations (contact us for address) on Monday, July 5th, at 4:00 PM.
Q: My son visited Israel a few times already - is Bnei Aish for him?
A: From our experience, this has never been an issue. The trips we take bring us to many unusual sites which your son is not likely to have been to. In addition, our great staff, campers and atmosphere make for a unique experience which your son will always remember.
Q: Is there any flexibility regarding the price?
A: Although the early-bird deadline was on April 21st, you can still gain a $200 reduction for every friend or brother you bring along.
TIPS:
-> Make sure your son has a valid passport ASAP. Renewing a passport at the last minute is usually possible - but at the cost of much money, tension and bureaucracy.
-> If reserving a ticket for your son on a flight other than the group flight, keep in mind that the optimal time for arrival in Israel is Monday, July 5th, between 10 AM and 3 PM. Recommended departure time is Sunday, August 1st, between 10 AM and 1 PM.
